It's been a very busy summer at the club as we push forward with our development plans. The following works have been completed:
1. Upgrade to the drainage on the top pitch with a completely new installation, replacing the aged system to ensure optimal water drainage to a new drainage system.
2. Upgrade of the floodlighting on the top pitch from halogen to LED, which will provide an increased LUX capacity, improving the light quality for playing, and reduce our energy costs with a more energy-efficient lighting solution.
3. Complete refurbishment of the changing rooms, including decoration of all walls in changing rooms and corridors, sanding, priming and staining of all benches, new hooks in all rooms, and a completely transformational new hard-wearing vinyl flooring throughout the whole downstairs of the club.
4. Re-painting and decoration of the stairwell and upstairs bar walls, doors and windows, with new window blinds, projector screen, new entry door to the bar and the inclusion of a dartboard!
This is a significant financial investment from the club to improve our facilities for everyone as we continue our journey of modernisation. It has also been a huge investment of time from a group of people to make this possible and I'd like to thank them all for their efforts:
Andy Davies, Michelle Davies, Brad Southey, Dan Jordan, Joe Rowsell, Geoff Collins (& Sportfields), Royce Chiddle, Laurie Mowbray and Gelder Flooring.
